Linda Jaivin covers Madrid’s story, one as diverse as its population today. From the grandeur of the Habsburg and Bourbon dynasties to the chaos and trauma of civil war and dictatorship, Madrid has survived it all with defiant spirit. John Zubrzycki writes about Delhi, whose history stretches back thousands of years through invasions, empires and the struggle for independence, and whose many-layered past can still be seen on its streets today.
Doors open at 6:00 PM for a 6:30 PM start. The event concludes at 8:00 PM.
General admission is $15.00, or $60.00 for the book and ticket deal, which includes copies of both books.
