On Tuesday 11 May at the Royal Oak Balmain, Linda will be in conversation about her book The Shortest History of China with Jennifer Byrne, renowned journalist, presenter and long-time host of ABC’s The Book Club.
The Shortest History of China book launch is presented by Roaring Stories Bookshop Balmain with Black Inc. Books. With thanks to our venue partner The Royal Oak Balmain.

Above all, the event will also be simultaneously live-streamed for free via the Roaring Stories Facebook page, where it will appear on the home page as a post at the scheduled start time of 7.00pm.
It will also be made available after the event as a recording, accessible via the Roaring Stories YouTube channel.
In addition, due to limited capacity, the tickets will be awarded on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Ticket-winners will be notified by Friday 7 May.
